The Lady Patriots opened up the 281 conference season on the road with a match up against the James Valley Christian Vikings. The Patriots made quick work of the Vikings by winning 25-14, 25-16, and 25-11,
The Patriots used aggressive serving all night to pile of the aces and also keep the Vikings out of system.
Leading the way offensively for the Patriots was Cora Hofer with 12 kills. A trio of players consisting of Emmerie Arthurs, Rebecca Huizenga, and Tess Bixler all recorded 4 kills. Gracyn Bixler orchestrated the offense all night and tallied 26 assists in the contest.
Arthurs would lead the way with 4 aces, followed by Gracyn Bixler with 3.
Defensively, Hofer and Tess Bixler each had 3 block assists. Cambree Hoekman recorded 12 assists.
The Patriots move to 2-0 on the young season and will be back in action on Saturday as they travel to Estelline to take part in a tournament.
