The Greyson Project
Here is a little bit more information about this non-profit organization and why it was started. Sweet Greyson, was a relative of our 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Masat. In late 2010, Greyson's family spent the holidays in the hospital and that's eventually where they had to say goodbye to this sweet boy. Friends and family sent them a care package decorating their room to make it feel more like home. All who visited were struck by that fact that their room was one of the only ones with decorations. As a tribute to Greyson, they began this project: to donate bags of decorations to families having to spend the holidays in the hospital. The Greyson Project now provides bags to multiple hospitals in 15 different states.
If you feel so inclined to participate in The Greyson Project, there are a couple ways you can participate. You can donate individual Christmas items and bags will be put together using said items, OR you can donate a complete bag of Christmas items to be delivered to families.
Here are some examples of what your bag could look like. All items in the bag need to be new, with tags left on every item. Also, Targets Christmas items are currently 50% off. So it is a great time to fill a bag!
Thank you for making "everyone feel at home for the holidays". All bags collected at H-T will be brought to the Sanford Children Hospital in Sioux Falls.
EARLY RELEASE -- THURSDAY, NOV. 21ST:
To help accommodate travel to the State VB tournament, the H-T school will dismiss early at 12:00 (Noon) next Thursday, November 21st and all bus routes will run at that time. The Lady Patriot VB team will play at 6:45 PM that night in Sioux Falls.

Here are a few things pertaining to the State VB Tournament. More information will be released next week.
1. Ticket Information - tickets are only sold online or at the door. Adult season $50 or $15/ session and Student season $30 or $10/session.

2. Send-Off - We will have a send-off for the VB team on Wednesday, Nov 20th in the Tulare gym at 9:00 AM.
3. Clear Bag Policy - Only small personal handbags, fanny packs, and over-the-shoulder bags that are 4.5" x 6.5" or smaller will be allowed into the venue. Guests may also bring a clear bag that is 12" x 12" x 6", only 1 bag per person.

Kindergarten has been learning about Native Americans. Today we made teepees for our snacktivity.

The Volleyball Team is asking fans to wear blue to the game again on Tuesday. We hope to see everyone Tuesday night to cheer on our Lady Patriots as they compete to qualify for the State Tournament. GO PATRIOTS!
