
State track day 3
The Patriots were well represented today! Emma started the day off in triple jump with a great battle. She took home 3rd place with a jump of 34’ 4.75”. Logan took home 6th place in the 100m dash with a time of 11.26. Rebecca also made a podium appearance claiming 8th place in the shot put with a throw of 35’ 8”. Logan also triple jumped today with a new PR of 40’ 3.75” earning a 9th place finish. Payton earned 4th place in 300 hurdles with a great effort on the back stretch earning him a PR of 41.94. Logan rounded out the day with a fantastic race in the 200m dash with a time of 22.65 earning him a new PR, a new Patriot record, and 6th place at the state meet!
An addition to day 2, Patrick had a great performance in the javelin with a toss of 111’ 10”. Neil also had an outstanding throw of 139’ 3”.

State track day 2.
Emmerie and Katelyn started off the day with excellent attempts at 4’ 10”. Payton followed with an awesome attempt at 5’ 10”. Payton also had a good showing in the 400m dash with a time of 55.61. Payton appeared on the track again for the 300m hurdles with a PR performance of 41.93, earning a spot in the finals on Saturday. Logan also stepped on the track for the 200m dash and produced a PR performance of 22.96, gaining another spot in the finals on Saturday. Keilee competed in the javelin runway and recorded a respectable toss of 93’2”. Katelyn also competed in the javelin and tossed out a PR in prelims of 122’ 2” earning her a spot of in the finals. Coming into finals, 4 competitors broke the old meet record, including Katelyn, that was seeded 2nd coming into finals. In the last throw in finals Katelyn hurls out a toss of 127’3” earning her a new PR, a new Patriot record, first place at the state meet, and a new state meet record! Awesome job to all our competitors today! And good luck on Saturday!


State track day 1 recap. The girls 4x800 started of the meet winning their heat with a PR of 10:36.33, earning 10th place overall. The 4x800 team includes Rae, Kaylie, Addy, and Isabel. Emmerie had a good showing in the 100m dash with a time of 13.59. Logan earned a spot in the 100m dash finals on Saturday with a prelim time of 11.52. Emma had a fantastic leap of 15’ 11.75” that placed 10th over all. Logan also had a good showing in the long jump with a jump of 18’ 6”. Ella represented the patriots well in discus with a toss of 97’ 3”. The 4x100 team, consisting of Emma, Keilee, Emmerie, and Katelyn, had a PR in prelims while also setting a new school record with a time of 53.26. Just a reminder that today is the final day of school for the year and students will be dismissed at Noon and all bus routes will run at that time. Congratulations on the completion of another amazing year. Have a great summer!!!

Tomorrow, our Junior High and High School students will be heading to the Nordby Center in Huron for a fun and active day, along with a free lunch. This trip is made possible — and fully funded — by the generosity of Mrs. Johnson and her Employability Class Lotus Corner. All students will attend, as this is a regular scheduled school day.

ELEMENTARY TRACK AND FIELD CANCELLED:
The elementary track and field day scheduled for tomorrow (May 21) has been cancelled due to the amount of moisture at the football field and the forecasted temperatures for tomorrow. Thank you.


Today, 3-6 graders had a little change of plans for their field trip. They went to a movie this morning and got the chance to tour NSU this afternoon. It was such a fun experience. GO WOLVES! 🐺









The track meet in Warner tomorrow has been postponed until Friday, May 23rd. The JH track meet for Tuesday in Ipswich has been canceled.

The 4th graders went on their annual field trip to the Hitchcock Museum today! ☺️
