PICTURE DAY: Tomorrow (Tues. Aug. 27th) is our annual picture day for KG-12th grade students. Students should have received a picture form in their back to school packet. Please make sure you are using the correct form as there are two forms, one for the elementary and one for the JH/HS. If you order online you will need to type the codes in exactly as printed (case sensitive). Preschool Pictures will be on retake day in October. If you have questions or need a new form please contact the office immediately.
Tomorrow, August 27th, is also Fall Sports Picture day as well. Pictures will start around 1:00 PM in Tulare and students wanting pictures will need to bring their form with them tomorrow. If you have questions please contact a coach or Mr. Leibel at the high school.

Former Tulare and Hitchcock-Tulare English teacher, school counselor, principal, athletic director, pop corn maker, superintendent, and Linda's husband, Dennis Smith will be inducted into the South Dakota Basketball Hall of Fame. With a career scoring average of 25 points per game, Smith concluded his four seasons starring for Glenham with a total of 2,186 points. He produced 32 points per game as a senior for the Eagles. His single game high was 51 points. Smith earned all-SDIC honors while playing at Northern State. Congratulations Mr. Smith.

CONGRATULATIONS to JoEllen Salmen who is being inducted into the South Dakota Basketball Hall of Fame this weekend in Sioux Falls. JoEllen was a 1994 graduate of Hitchcock where she was a 5 year starter and during her senior year averaged 28 points per game. JoEllen is currently our Colony Title I teacher and head girls basketball coach. On behalf of the Hitchcock-Tulare School District, congratulations JoEllen on this amazing honor and accomplishment.
H-T FFA and FCCLA are collecting can tabs for the Ronald McDonald House in Sioux Falls! Help us by collecting tabs from your cans and sending them into the high school. We will collect them and send them in from there.

We discovered a printing error with some of the yearbooks this year so we are asking everyone to check the yearbook they purchased to see if it has the error. If your yearbook has printing on the inside back cover it is misprinted so please return to the Elementary school in Hitchcock and we will get it replaced with a good one.
