This week, February 23rd through 26th, is FFA week and H-T FFA has a lot of activities planned! Be sure to bring money for a pop float on Tuesday! Wednesday is the FFA Breakfast open to all community members from 6-8 AM. For any questions contact an FFA Chapter Officer.
Next week, the junior high/high school students will kick off their winter homecoming with a week inspired by the Winter Olympics. Students will show their school spirit through dress-up days, fun competitions, and friendly rivalry.

Our students recently took part in processing pork as part of the CTE Mobile Meats Lab. They learned proper safety, sanitation, and processing techniques while gaining a deeper appreciation for where our food comes from.
The best part? The pork they processed was used to make delicious cheesy jalapeño brats and sausage links that will be served at our local FFA Chapter breakfast on Wednesday, February 25th!

It's tax season! Using real-world scenarios, students are learning how to read W-2 forms, understand tax deductions and credits, and navigate the filing process by completing a 1040 form.

We will be serving pancakes, biscuits and sausage, sausage links, eggs, milk, orange juice, and coffee. The sausage and links were made by the H-T Ag and FACS classes using the meats trailer that has been at our school this quarter!
We will be taking a free will donation to benefit Brett Miller, a Wessington Springs FFA member, who is currently having medical issues.
