CALENDAR AMENDMENT:
The school board has approved a calendar amendment (since we did not use a snow day this year) moving the final day for students from Thursday, May 21st to Wednesday, May 20th. On May 20th, we will have an early release at 2:30 PM. This will also be our elementary track and field day, which is held at the football field in Hitchcock. More information will be released about end-of-year activities at a later time. Thank you.

This past weekend, our students competed at the State Visual Arts competition, and we are proud to share that we earned 2nd place in Class B, bringing home our first team trophy!
This is an incredible accomplishment, especially in a year that saw over 400 entries across AA, A, and B schools. Class B also had a record number of schools participating, and out of 15 schools, our team placed 2nd overall.
With this being only our 4th year of Visual Arts, this achievement speaks volumes about our students’ hard work, creativity, and dedication.
Congratulations to all of our participants, we are so proud of you!

🎨 State Visual Arts 🎨
We will be heading to Aberdeen this Friday, April 10, to the ARCC (the old Central High School building) for the State Visual Arts Gallery!
The gallery will be open to the public:
Friday: 5:00–9:00 PM
Saturday: 9:30 AM - 3 PM
🏆 Awards will take place on Saturday at 3:00 PM, with teardown immediately following.
Good luck to all of our students participating—we are proud to showcase your hard work and creativity!
This project was a challenge at the start, but their hard work and perseverance really paid off. The final results turned out amazing, and we couldn’t be prouder of their effort and creativity!
Be sure to sign up and turn in your forms soon. While sign-ups will still be accepted the day of, submitting everything ahead of time helps us stay organized and plan for the right numbers.

What an electrifying day at Hitchcock-Tulare! ⚡⚗️
We had the incredible opportunity on Monday to host a science show led by some of Miss Brock's former college professors from South Dakota State University who wowed our students with hands-on chemistry and physics demonstrations! From eye-catching reactions to interactive experiments, students got to see science come to life right before their eyes! 💥
The learning didn’t stop there—our Chemistry students had the chance to dive even deeper, working alongside the professors to explore different types of chemical reactions through engaging, hands-on activities.
Experiences like this spark curiosity, build connections, and show students just how exciting science can be! 🧪✨
