FCCLA will be doing Operation Christmas Child this year! If you aren’t familiar with this project, shoebox sized boxes are filled with basic necessities along with fun toys, school supplies, etc. and sent to children where the poverty level is extremely low and Christmas gifts are not typically received. If you have questions, please reach out to FCCLA Members- Cora Hofer, Dannika Seaman, or Avarie Estey. You can support this project through monetary donations or by donating supplies that can be packed into the shoeboxes. On October 28th there will be a table set up at the volleyball game in Hitchcock that will accept donations and have more information about the project. We will be accepting donations at the high school in Tulare until November 10th. Your help is greatly appreciated!

CTE SHARED SERVICES UPDATE: We are excited to share that Tucker and Cora are the first H-T students to take advantage of classes offered in Huron through our CTE Shared Services with Huron School District. Tucker is taking Automotive Shop and Cora is taking Culinary Arts this semester. Our District will also have the Mobile Small Engines Lab during the 2nd Quarter and the Mobile Meats Lab after Christmas Break during the 3rd Quarter. We are excited about these new opportunities for our district and students.
